Virtual Site Inspection – Marching Band – Parade

Theme for LNYDP 2021

We select a theme each year to help project positive images and energy from our route to the hundreds of thousands of spectators on the streets – and the hundreds of millions watching on TV and online across the continents.

The theme for the turn-of-year tradition will be:

Parade Route

The Parade route is as follows – Piccadilly, Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Waterloo Place, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall and Parliament Street.

The parade route should take between forty minutes to one hour, depending on where you are in the procession.

Once you are marching, you may be asked to perform at some of the grandstand locations, but the general rule is to play and march at all times, stopping only to maintain the allotted distance between yourself and the entry ahead of you.
