Vintage Motors, Dhol Drummers & US Marching Band Announced!

We are excited to announce three more fantastic participants for London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2019!

Archbishop Riordan High School Crusader Marching Band

The Archbishop Riordan High School Crusader Marching Band is one of the most active bands in Northern California, performing for competitions, parades, sporting events and other venues who wish to hear fun and energetic music. The band most notably performed for Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco and the Rome, Italy New Year’s Day Parade in 2017.

 

American Cop & Classic Cars

The American Cop & Classic Car entry are a group of dedicated enthusiasts who want to share their love of these amazing and authentic vehicles to a wider audience! All of their cars are a labour of love and the American cop cars are all original service vehicles from the US that have been taken out of service, imported to the UK and restored by hand by our members!

The restored cars have amazing stories behind them, from featuring in Blockbuster films right through to being one family owned cars (through multiple generations) in the US, prior to being imported to the UK to continue their wonderful journey.

 

London School of Dhol

The London School of Dhol provides students, of all abilities and ages, with the chance to learn and show their true potential in the wonderful art of Dhol! The school aims to give their students all the tools they need to become professional Dhol players and to really enjoy and love playing the Dhol.

“We are truly honoured to be performing at the LNYDP for only the second time and have doubled our numbers from 30 performers to over 60 performers.”
