London is set to send a New Year’s message to the World that it is open as we prepare for LNYDP 2022 on 1st January.
The two and half hour ‘arena show’ to be held in the West End, will act as a shop window for overseas viewers thinking about making a foreign trip next year.
Event organisers, Destination Events, has once again secured a prestigious agreement for their New Year’s Day celebration to be screened on more than 250 television stations in the USA with hundreds more stations in other continents expected to take coverage too.
LNYDP 2022 will look a little different from the usual turn-of-year-tradition, but it will represent an important milestone on the route back to normality.
A limited number of grandstand seats are now on sale at Ticketmaster LNYDP Tickets Here and those that can’t secure tickets are being invited to view online or on London Live.
Bob Bone, Executive Director of Destination Events said:
“We couldn’t leave London out in the cold as the rest of the World celebrates. The show will go on and will be seen by millions across the World.
“It won’t be a full-blown parade, that will return in 2023, but it will be an important steppingstone on the road back to normality.”
The event will feature an eclectic mix of music acts, cultural and community groups and some ‘firecracker’ moments. As ever the event will reflect the extraordinary diversity of the city that it serves.
On the roster so far announced are K-Pop group Kaachi, dancers, acrobats, drummers, stunt riders and a myriad more.
