LNYDP 2022 – FIRST PARTICIPANTS ANNOUNCED!

Details on location and timing for LNYDP 2022 will be confirmed later this year, however, we are delighted to be able to announce the first three participants set to celebrate the New Year with us.

Kaachi 

KAACHI is a British K-POP girl group formed by FrontRow Records, consisting of members Coco, Nicole and Chunseo. They debuted on 15 April 2020 with the digital single “Your Turn” hitting over 20 million YouTube views, following with their second single ‘Photo Magic’ (November 4th 2020) and their latest release ‘The One Thing’ (19th August 2021).

Kaachi took part in our televisual spectacular, LNYDP 2021 – London Welcomes You Back. We look forward to welcoming the three piece K-Pop sensation back to London to celebrate New Year’s Day on 1st January 2022.

Pandemonium Drummers 

he joyful and fun Pandemonium Drummers met as volunteer performers in the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony. Until the pandemic lockdown they had performed over 250 times including for parades and festivals and sporting, charity, and community events.

Whilst in enforced lockdown they missed performing live so made two videos – including a thank you tribute to the NHS, a performance of their Olympic signature track ‘And I Will Virtually Kiss’, which LNYDP featured at the time.

They are proud winners of a national Creative Lives award and a Team London Olympic Legacy award. Preparations are underway for their 10th birthday in 2022. They look forward to welcoming new  members to join in their exciting celebrations.

 

London Chinatown Chinese Association 
London Chinatown Chinese Association (LCCA) was founded in 1978, with the aim of developing and expanding businesses in Chinatown and to represent the British Chinese population. Since the LCCA was founded, Chinatown has been transformed into a cleaner, safer and more vibrant area for both visitors.For LNYDP 2022, the LCCA will be showcasing the vest best of China to the watching World, represented by 2 giant dancing dragons, dancing lions, a team of pandas, Chinese drummers and so much more!The LCCA is the organiser of the annual mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese New Year Celebrations held outside of Asia.
