London Borough of Hackney
The London Borough of Hackney & the London Borough of Haringey have confirmed their participation in London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2019.
They will compete alongside Boroughs from across the capital in a bid to win a top ten place prize in the LNYDP Borough Competition. Each London Borough will enter their own performance group and parade float. The entries will be judged on who best represents the LNYDP theme, which this year is ‘London Welcomes The World‘.
All prize money will be given to charities of the Borough’s choosing. The Borough Competition has been an integral part of the Parade since 1997 and over that time the competition has raised well over £1 million for very worthwhile causes.
The LNYDP team will announce new participants for London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2019 throughout the next few months! So stay tuned to our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts for the latest news from London’s New Year’s Day Parade.
