The London Pearly Kings & Queens Society

The historic Society was established in 1875 by our founder Henry Croft who became the first Pearly King to wear a smother suit made from real pearl buttons. There were 28 London Boroughs then who each had a Pearly family, all collecting donations for London’s poor communities and residents with disabilities.

The Pearly Society is a huge part of London tradition and we continue to collect for various charities in a voluntary capacity. Many people far and wide across the World treasure the Pearly Society making it a privilege and honour to be a member.
