Three new participants have been confirmed to appear at London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2020! Find out all about them in their own words.
London School of Dhol
The London School of Dhol provides students, of all abilities and ages, with the chance to learn and show their true potential in the wonderful art of Dhol! We aim to give our students all the tools they need to become a professional Dhol players and to really enjoy and love playing the Dhol.
We are truly honoured to be performing at the LNYDP for only the second time and have doubled our numbers from 30 performers to over 60 performers.
We are so excited about taking part in LNYDP for the third time in our history that we started rehearsing our exclusive routine for LNYDP 2020 on the morning of the 2nd January 2019!
Aston Martin Owners Club
The Aston Martin Owners Club, also known as ‘AMOC’, is the largest and only official worldwide club for everyone that is interested in the iconic marque.
Our guiding principles are to create an interest in Aston Martin, to celebrate our hobby of motoring, the motor sport industry and to encourage members to share their passion for Aston Martin. Membership is very much open to all Aston Martin enthusiasts as well as owners!
The success of AMOC in recent years is thanks to our current President ‘Viscountess Downe’ and her late husband and past president ‘Viscount Downe’. In this time, the AMOC has twice been the winner of the ‘Historic Motoring Awards Car Club of the Year’, something we are very proud of!
American Cop & Classic Cars
We are a group of classic American and cop car enthusiasts that want to share our love of these amazing and authentic vehicles to a wider audience! All our cars are labours of love and the American cop cars are all original service vehicles from the US that have been taken out of service, imported to the UK and restored by hand by our members!
As a group we attend charity events, police events and American car shows, trying to bring a smile to peoples faces and a real wow factor wherever we go!
All of our cars have amazing stories behind them, from featuring in Blockbuster films right through to being one family owned cars (through multiple generations) in the US, prior to being imported to the UK to continue their wonderful journey. Come cheer us on and ask us about the history behind our cars on January 1st at LNYDP 2020!
The turn-of-year tradition, much loved across the Capital and around the World, is eagerly anticipated by participants, tourists and television viewers alike.
The annual event will be the 34th to light up London and will once again generate many hundreds of millions of pounds for businesses, hotels and restaurants along the route.
Participants will be announced each week. If you would like to be the first to know about ticket release dates, participant announcements and additional offers and competitions, sign up to our LNYDP Newsletter – SIGN UP TODAY
