Three immaculate Jaguars – promoting London’s New Year’s Parade – Brought sunshine and colour to London and Parliament Square today (Sunday April17th).  The stunning XK8s, bedecked from bumper to bumper in Union Jack livery, will be participating in London’s turn of year tradition on January 1st and were making a promotion TV film for the event.  Classic car hire company Union Jag owns the three vehicles. The parade, which will be themed ‘Lights, Cameras, Action’ in tribute to the British film industry is the 31st annual event.  More than 8,000 performers from numerous nations will be on parade entertaining around 500,000 people on the streets and a TV audience of many millions. Three of Britain’s finest motoring icons, Jaguar XK8s’, (supplied by Union Jag) ‘lined up on the starting grid’ and then were taken for a spin in the heart of the nation’s capital on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Westminster. All three Jaguars, bedecked in Union Jack colours, are set to take pole position at London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2017.
LNYDP 2017 is set to be the most spectacular parade in the events’ 31 year history. The events theme, Lights, Camera, Action, will highlight some of the most memorable moments in cinema history and will offer a variety of surprises along the way.
