Three classic participants have been announced for London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2018!

The Pandemonium Drummers & Ceremonies Dancers are a group of ordinary people who were given an extraordinary opportunity to perform on the World stage. The group made their first global splash when they appeared at the London Olympics Opening Ceremony, which was broadcast to millions of viewers around the world. They are returning to London to play, once again, in front of over half a million parade spectators and millions of more via live television on January 1st.

All of the drummers were amateur and had never drummed before, prior to the Olympic opening ceremony. Since then, the group regularly play Ceremonies, Festivals, Theatre, Sporting Event, Historical events and of course Parades.

Showtime Cars in partnership with American Cop Cars is a passionate group of classic car lovers. The British based American Cop Car collectors continue to put a smiles on the faces of spectators when they parade their iconic motors at local and national events. They also raise money for charities around the country and each car is truly a labour of lover for all of their members.

All of the cars, set to feature in the parade, have featured in movies and TV programmes at some point in the past 10 years!

Miniature Steamers for Charity relive a bygone era of steam.Their dedication and expertise allow the age of steam to be experienced, first-hand, by future generations. Their engines are considered to have huge historical significance and all of their fine steamers have been hand built from scratch. The miniature steam engines replicate the larger models that used to serve an everyday purpose and their notable sound and style will add a touch of British class to proceedings on parade day.

The Miniature Steamers for Charity have been a longstanding participant with LNYDP and we look forward to welcoming them back on January 1st 2018!
