LNYDP RENEWS CORINTHIA LONDON LINK

Ultra Luxury Hotel Partners Parade

LONDON’S NEW YEAR’S DAY PARADE – one of the World’s great street spectaculars – has renewed its partnership with the Capital’s most iconic luxury hotel, Corinthia Hotel London.

Perfectly positioned in the heart of Westminster, Corinthia Hotel London is recognised as the most significant luxury hotel development in decades.

Corinthia Hotel London will be London’s New Year’s Day Parade headquarters in the run-up to the event and host the VIP guests travelling to participate and watch the 31st annual parade.

Executive Director of London’s New Year’s Day Parade, Bob Bone said: “I am delighted to be working alongside such a wonderful luxury hotel portfolio.

“The parade has proved to be a worthy partner over the last few years and proud to provide global media coverage for our great city – and Corinthia Hotel London.

“Corinthia Hotel London is clearly at the very top of the tree.”

The hotel, which won The Sunday Times Travel Award for having The Best Spa in Europe, is situated just a few hundred yards from the parade’s iconic route.

More than 8,000 performers from numerous nations are preparing for this terrific turn-of-year tradition.

Dozens of London boroughs, marching bands and community groups are getting ready for their close up to reflect the parade’s movie theme of ‘Lights, Camera, Action’.

Other parade partners include BBC London, the British Film Institute (BFI), The City of Westminster and The London Mayor’s Association.

Organisers are expecting more than 500,000 to attend the World-renowned jamboree, which befits the historic 2.2 mile route from Piccadilly to Parliament Sq (via Piccadilly Circus, Regent St St. James, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Sq and Whitehall).

The parade, which begins at 12Noon on January 1st will be broadcast live across the continents and will draw a huge global TV audience.

Tens of thousands of pounds will be generated for mayoral charities across the Capital – thanks to The Borough Competition (in which the boroughs compete to have the best parade entry) – and an on-street collection from those packing the West End.
